We worked extensively in the studio in Bergisch Gladbach / Refrath, but we were also happy to come to our clients’ homes. Of course, the studio can create a fitting atmosphere for certain photos — vintage charm, a huge bed, a sofa arrangement, or the view of the Rhine brings the respective apartment’s own character along.
More than just the special surroundings make a homeshoot appealing: At home, it’s home-court advantage. The rooms are familiar, the wardrobe, cosmetics, and bathroom are within reach. Familiarity conveys comfort and security. Thus, personal images with flair and atmosphere emerge.

Is my home suitable?
Your home is suitable if you like it and enjoy seeing it. Due to size — or lack thereof — you need hardly worry. Our photographers find a special corner, view, or perspective, an old wooden floor, or a unique light source.
How long does a homeshoot take?
Generally longer than a studio shoot. The images live off the variation and surroundings. Sometimes, something needs to be moved or rearranged to fit on the photo.
Unlike the technically standardized studio environment, the photographer must adapt to the lighting and local conditions. That’s exactly what makes these images unique. A careful preparation demands time; “quickly snap a photo” might not be an option for you either.
Do I need to clean and tidy up beforehand?
No special effort is required. Everything you personally find distracting or that the photographer doesn’t want to see should be cleared away beforehand. If you’d like to lie on the floor, a prior cleaning won’t hurt. Otherwise, feel relaxed and comfortable.
Who does the makeup?
In the original offer, you could take care of the makeup yourself, ask a friend to help, or book our makeup artist for the appointment.
How much does a homeshoot cost?
The cost depends on the level of effort and is offered individually. The 2015 entry price was 290 Euro including VAT. For today’s shoot, we’ll discuss your wishes and current terms personally.
